Our Process

At Ascent Wealth Solutions, the client experience is our north star. We work tirelessly to improve our service model and experience to our existing and future clients.

We recognize that change is constant and our sophisticated clients need a dynamic and innovative team.  As holistic advisors, we are more than assets!  We are Financial Planners that will look at all aspects of your financial life and build a plan that will help you live to your fullest potential.  We regularly bring new relevant planning concepts to our clients attention, regularly review investment strategies, and routinely discuss plan adjustments on a regular basis. 

<strong>Introduction</strong>

Introduction

We begin every new client relationship with a casual introductory call, typically lasting around 30 minutes. During this call the client and AWS advisor have the same ultimate goal, to determine if continuing to process makes sense. The advisor will ask questions to confirm if the client is the right fit for their practice. Concurrently, the advisor’s goal is to answer any client questions, outline the process, cover fee expectations, and layout next steps.

Discovery  

This is the most important part of the process; where you are heard. In order to design an optimal financial plan we must listen to our client and truly understand what they are looking to accomplish.  Our meeting will be for 45-90 minutes via zoom or in person.  Our goal is to get to know all about you so we can make the most comprehensive recommendations to achieve your best life!

Once the discovery process is completed, the advisor and the team can begin crafting a tailor made financial plan for the client(s). We believe financial literacy and fiscal understanding is paramount to a clients success.  We will explore all necessary topics to ensure the position you are in and what efficiencies can be created will be clear and understood.  This will include a macroscopic view of the clients inventory, capabilities, goals and legacy to paint a picture of what is possible.

After the plan is analyzed on a macroscopic basis, the advisor will pivot to diving deeper into each recommendation. The advisor will compare the proposed features and benefits, fees, and historical performance of any planning elements proposed. They will also juxtapose the recommended solution with the existing solution the client is employing, if applicable.

Once the plan implementation is complete, the real work starts for us and the team.  We will have regularly agreed upon meetings to discuss the progress to living your best life. As your life changes so will your plan and we will be there right along the way to help you succeed.  We have one life to live and we want to be sure to help you live it to its fullest!
